July 21, 2024Throughout the year, Interfaith Philadelphia offers a diverse array of internship opportunities to both undergraduate and graduate students from across the country to work with us.
This summer we welcomed four new interns, all whom are passionate about grassroots interfaith work! Learn a bit about them below and see their full bios here.
Meet Zev Zentner, Youth Programs intern!
Zev Zentner is a rising senior at Grinnell College. A Religious Studies major, they care deeply about interfaith action. Zev is a member of the Grinnell Religious Studies Student Education Policy Committee and they are the vice president of Chaverim, Grinnell’s Jewish Organization.
“I’m so thrilled to be able to spend the summer at Interfaith Philadelphia. Interfaith work has been part of my life since I was a child and I’m so excited to be able to take a more active role in interfaith work for the next generation.”

Meet Katelyn Stealey, Data Analysis/Development Research intern!
Katelyn Stealey is a psychology major and data science minor at Bryn Mawr College. She is passionate about interfaith dialogue and the transformative power of community. Katelyn is excited about the opportunity to tell stories and build connections through her research at Interfaith Philadelphia.
“I am loving my work here. It’s been so wonderful to engage and be in community with so many people in the Interfaith Philadelphia network, from our incredible staff to past program participants. I’m so excited to discover how interfaith understanding has become and remains important in everyone’s lives.”

Meet Maya Lanzisera, Communications intern!
Maya Lanzisera is a junior majoring in Communication at the University of Connecticut. She is actively involved in the Jewish community at UConn through UConn Hillel and Chabad at UConn. Maya has experience working in nonprofit and grassroots organizations, which has fueled her passion for social impact.
“Religion has always been a big part of my life, so I’m looking forward to spending this summer learning about other religions and the impact religion has on communities, especially Philadelphia. I’ve enjoyed my time so far at Interfaith Philadelphia and I can’t wait for the rest of the summer.”

Meet Jessica Ramos, Social Work intern!
An advanced standing master’s in social work student from the University of Pennsylvania, Jessica Ramos is delighted to intern with the Interfaith Philadelphia team. She hopes to use her clinical, macro, and Interfaith experience to work alongside communities and organizations to support an environment of inclusion, understanding, and diversity.
